We're pushing out an interim build today, version 3.65. We've corrected a couple
of minor bugs and added one important new feature. Now, the individual reports on
the weather lists we described below can have alternate titles to make them more
useful. You'll notice this immediately on the NFL Football list on the main page.
The 3.7 release will allow you to create your own weather lists and decide what
goes on your own home page. We hope to get that out before the end of January.

Welcome to Weather Now version 3.6. Today we're rolling out a couple of under-the-hood
features that you might not notice right away.
First, the
Home page
page now gets the weather lists it displays from the database. This means we can
change what shows up without pushing new bits out, and we can pre-populate lists
ahead of time. You'll notice this from time to time, for example during U.S.
NFL Football season, when the sites of the coming week's home games will
show up Tuesday, as if by magic.
Second, we've added caching to the site in a couple of key places.
Code profiling showed a couple of hotspots, which the switch to database-housed
weather lists exacerbated. The home page should load about 60% faster now; some
of the other pages should be slightly quicker as well.
We made another significant change back on
Nov 19, when we upgraded the site to
Microsoft .NET 4.0
and the Inner Drive Extensible
Architecture™ 2.0. There were a couple of bug fixes as well, none of
them major.
